Data Deletion Instructions

InstaDM (“we”, “the Service”), operated at aipatnam.com, lets you delete your account and all associated Instagram data at any time. This page explains how.

1. What gets deleted

  • Your InstaDM account (name, email, password hash, uploaded avatar).
  • Every Instagram account you connected, including the stored access token, Instagram user ID, username and linked Facebook Page metadata.
  • All keyword campaigns, send logs, comment replies and stored direct messages associated with your account.
  • Any cached posts, comments or media metadata we retrieved from Meta.

Deletion is permanent. Once processed, the data cannot be recovered. We may retain minimal records (for example a deletion confirmation ID) for up to 30 days for fraud prevention and audit purposes, after which they are also purged.

2. Delete from inside the app

  1. Sign in at https://aipatnam.com/login.
  2. Open the My Profile tab from the sidebar.
  3. Use the Disconnect Instagram button to revoke the Instagram connection, then contact us at support@aipatnam.com to delete the remaining account data.

3. Delete by email

Send an email to support@aipatnam.com from the address you used to register. Use the subject line Data Deletion Request. We will:

  • Confirm receipt within 2 business days.
  • Delete your account and Instagram data within 7 business days.
  • Send you a confirmation email with a unique deletion confirmation ID once the deletion has been processed.

4. Delete via Instagram / Facebook

You can also remove InstaDM's access to your Instagram Business account at any time from within Instagram:

  1. Open the Instagram app or instagram.com/accounts/manage_access.
  2. Find InstaDM (or aipatnam) in the list of authorized apps.
  3. Tap Remove.

When Meta notifies us of the removal via its signed deletion callback at https://aipatnam.com/api/data-deletion, we automatically purge the data tied to that Instagram user.

5. Programmatic deletion callback (for Meta)

Our data-deletion callback URL is https://aipatnam.com/api/data-deletion. It accepts a Meta signed_requestpayload, verifies the HMAC-SHA256 signature against our app secret, deletes the corresponding user data, and returns a JSON response containing the confirmation URL and confirmation code as required by Meta's Platform Terms.
